Dear Business Partner,
We would like to inform you, that the negotiations between the Management Board and trade union did not bring any conclusion yet. Therefore, it is possible that trade union will go on strike tomorrow, Tuesday at 6 am.
The management Board of Luka Koper d.d. still does everything in its power to prevent the strike.
However, in the event of a strike we kindly ask you for understanding. It is expected some terminals will be more affected than others. Therefore, we suggest you apply to the Head of profit centre and/or Operations and Sales Director for further information regarding the terminal work.
Despite the strike some of the terminal operations will be carried out to some extent. According to Slovene legislation regulating strike, workers are obliged to perform the loading and unloading of merchandise which could be deteriorated (perishable goods), livestock and dangerous cargo. Operations for other cargo will be carried out in amount of 5 hours per day, uninterrupted from 14.00 to 19.00.
